Add or Subtract Days From Any Date

By default the count starts the day after the start date. Checking this counts the start date itself, so the result shifts one day earlier.

These are pre-computed examples, not live queries — each card shows the verified answer and links to the calculator prefilled with the same inputs, so you can rerun or adjust it yourself.

Lookup tables by day count

Prefer to read the answer off a table? Each page below lists every start date across a two-year window with the resulting date and its weekday — no input needed.

Does the count include the start date?

By default this calculator counts exclusively: the start date is day 0, so 1 day from July 29, 2025 is July 30, and 180 days from July 29, 2025 is January 25, 2026. This matches how deadlines, return windows, and "days from now" are usually counted.

Some situations — rental periods, event day counts, school or work schedules — count inclusively, treating the start date itself as day 1. Check "Count the start date as day 1" and the result shifts one day toward the start: 180 days from July 29, 2025 becomes January 24, 2026.

Not sure which you need? If the instruction says "within 180 days of July 29," the exclusive default is almost always right. If it says "starting July 29, count 180 days," use the inclusive option.

What if I need business days instead of calendar days?

The result panel shows the same count in business days (weekends skipped) alongside the calendar answer, with a link that carries your inputs over to the business days calculator, which can also exclude US federal holidays and custom dates.
