Date Difference Calculator

Elapsed Days

Elapsed days count the number of calendar days between two dates. January 1 to January 2 is 1 elapsed day.

Inclusive Days

Inclusive days count both the start date and end date. This is useful for travel, events, and schedules where both dates matter.

Calendar Days

This calculator includes weekends. For weekday-only deadlines, use the business days calculator instead.

How to Count Days Between Dates

  1. Enter the first date in the Start Date field.
  2. Enter the second date in the End Date field.
  3. Select Calculate Difference to see elapsed days, inclusive days, weeks, months, and years.

The order of the dates does not matter. If the end date is before the start date, the calculator still returns the absolute date difference.
